Born and raised in China until the age of 11, Xinwei Liu is a resident physician in Emergency Medicine. When he's not at work you can find Dr. Liu going to the gym, hiking, hanging out with my friends, and laying out in the sun.
In his own words,
"My favorite thing about my specialty of Emergency Medicine is being able to take care of my patients and making a difference in their lives the moment they come into the ER. The biggest challenge is the difficulty of managing all of my patients all at once and managing my emotions between sick and not so sick patients.
In everyday work life I interact with a wide variety of people including nurses, techs, PAs, and other physicians. We live in a time where people make decisions and assumptions about another person within the first 5-10 seconds of meeting them. How we dress and present ourselves are so important in part of the total care of my patients."
