Why did you choose your profession?:
Podiatry is hands down the best kept secret in Medicine. Although it is a specialty in itself, podiatry is very all encompassing and multidisciplinary. As a podiatrist you can venture into complex surgical reconstructions, trauma, elective cosmetic surgeries, wound care/limb salvage, dermatology, and even orthotics. Personally, I like to balance all these fields in practice, but I have grown very fond of surgery and wound care.
Current Passion Project:
Because International sponsors an amazing fundraiser for THE SHOE THAT GROWS. Ive worked with the group various times. They set you up with a fundraising page you can share with all your friends and family. It cost $15-20 to send a shoe to a child in need.
Who was/is your inspiration?
My Parents, the most selfless and hardworking individuals I know.
Fun Fact 1:
I am Trilingual, attempting to pick up my fourth language in French.
