Why did you choose your profession?:
I chose the PA profession because we get to build a unique and special relationship with our patients. As a PA, we have the opportunity to become a part of our patients' lives and build long lasting bond while managing their health, together as a team.
Current Passion Project:
In September of 2015, I started my own community service organization called Do For The World. This charity organization is aimed to help individuals living on the streets and families in underserved communities in Los Angeles and Orange County area. With a team of 40+ volunteers, each year we host a Thanksgiving Food Drive to collect donations for local food banks and those living on the streets. Prior to collection, we survey individuals on the streets to get a strong understanding of what is needed. This past November, we raised over 3,000 pounds of donations and served Thanksgiving dinner to over 400 low income families. It is gratifying to work with the underserved populations and I am deeply committed to my role within the communities both in the states and abroad.
