Known amongst colleagues as the ‘James Bond’ lab coat, Bernard was initially introduced Summer 2017 as a non-stretch men’s lab coat, known for blazer style slim-fit styling at a slightly shorter length. Bernard transitioned to the premium performance stretch fabric in Fall 2019 with minimal design changes – an improved overall slim fit and slightly shorter sleeve to ensure visibility of a button- down shirt hem. The stretch pattern of Bernard remains the slimmest of our men’s lab coats and is ideal for anyone 5’10” or under of slim or European stature seeking a highly polished and prestigious aesthetic. Medelita stretch lab coat fabric is buttery soft yet extremely durable. If you are between sizes, choose the upper size due to minimal shrinkage when laundered on hot.
